Job Over View
The experienced Project Manager will manage the Engineering, Procurement and Construction of Permanent Buildings on the TILENGA Central Processing Facility.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/ vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility • Developing a detailed Project plan to track progress. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in Project scope, schedule and costs
• Day to day Project Cost control/estimating- provide estimating and cost support, including providing check estimates, evaluations of changes and variations and validating invoices for payments from EPCM contractor
• Apply all Cost/ estimating techniques in accordance with approved Project Controls Execution Plan
• Ensuring that Cost Estimating Managers are aware of any adverse trends and to propose remedial actions
• Providing estimating support to the review of EPCM Contractors change orders including clarification, verification and challenge of the information provided.
• Provide estimating input to the evaluation of the Value Engineering opportunities and challenge submissions from the EPCM Contractors
• Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
• Use and continually develop leadership skills Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
• Perform other related duties as assigned Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
Qualifications
• A minimum 30+ years’ experience in Civil Engineering/Construction with at least 20 or those in Oil And Gas Related Management Positions.
• Experience in Building, Civil, Structural and Architectural QC activities
• Experience with BS8500 and EN206.
• Major fabrication/construction site experience specifically related to blast proof buildings. Beneficial: pipe inspection experience for building related pipework.
• Familiar with construction standards and code of practices
• Experience in coordination of third-party authorities and associated regulatory requirements.
• Preferred audit experience to ISO9001:2015 and or construction inspection qualifications. Computer skills-MS Office Suite.
