We are looking for creative, agile and result driven individuals to fill the position of;
Digital Financial Services Sales Executives (Smart Friend).
Reports to:
Branch Manager/ Digital Financial Supervisor
Job purpose:
The DFS Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales and usage of the digital services to include, Digital signups/ Uptake for the Mobile App, Smart Pocket, Opportunity Ku-ssimu, Agent Banking and ATM banking through customer trainings on the services and value proposition to derive usage of the digital financial services.
Key Result Areas:
- Drive sales and onboarding of Mobile App, Smart Pocket, Opportunity Ku-ssimu, ATM Banking, Agent Banking as a priority.
- Work closely with the branch team and DFS head office team for Market leads and field activations against set target
- Daily sales reports to Branch manager and Head office DFS
- Develop relationships and generate leads with potential partners and institutions and oversee the sales and digital on-boarding
- Keeping up to date with the marketing trends, competition in the financial sector and identify improvements and recommendations to the DFS Supervisor, branch management team.
- Provide guidance and digital financial training to all customers and attend client interactive meetings.
- Advise on the development of unique marketing and sales tactics required for growth of DFS sales
- Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales
- Timely resolve customer queries
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma from a reputable organization
- 3-6 Months experience in sales and
- MUST possess a Credit pass in Maths and English at ‘O’ Level

- Fast Learner, thinker and passionate about sales

- Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills
- Resilient and market awareness with ability to grow and adapt

- IT and Computer skills e.g. excel, power point, Microsoft word etc
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commercial awareness of DFS and innovations

- Self-starter, highly motivated, passionate, results driven, able to work autonomously as well as part of a group, resilient and hard working.
- Ability to demonstrate creativity in Sales and Marketing
- Suggesting new areas of customer acquisition and revenue on the channel’s side.
