UNHCR seeks skilled communications professionals to develop and implement various initiatives to effectively shape the discourse on forced displacement, generate empathy, and mobilize action. As part of the External Engagement section, the scope of their work encompasses communication strategy and coordination, media relations, creation of multimedia content, engagement on social media platforms, collaboration with Goodwill Ambassadors and influencers, public outreach and campaigns, fundraising, analytics, and brand management.
UNHCR’s Communications staff need to cultivate a deep understanding of the organization’s target audiences, as well as editorial and journalistic standards. Additionally, they must be attentive to protection
concerns and political sensitivities, and focused on communicating successfully with key demographics.

The position
