Job Description

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa /CCBA is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda /CCBU is a subsidiary of CCBA, and we are currently seeking to recruit a Settlement Clerk basedin Kampala.

Asa Settlement Clerk, you will report directly to the Warehouse/Stock Team Leader.

Key Purpose Statement

The primary role of the Settlement Clerk is to make sure all administration is completed and all data captured in the system, on a daily basis in real-time.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Capture & analyze data from source documents into the system.
• Compare data with source documentation or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors
• Compile, Sort, and Verify the accuracy of the data before it is entered
• Locate and correct data entry errors or report them to the supervisors
• Maintain logs of activities and completed work
• Store completed documents in appropriate locations
• Transfer details from separate journals to general ledgers and data processing sheets.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Commerce.
• Added advantage: ACCA or CPA

Experience

• Experience /Knowledge in Accounting.

• Must be computer literate
• Financial acumen
• Must be a strong team player, flexible with the ability to work under minimum Supervision
• Must be energetic and willing to work on weekends when required
• Should have attention to detail
• Must be result oriented
