Job Title: Manager – Planning and Fulfillment

Reports to: Senior Manager – Supply Chain Management

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS:

Technical:

  • Ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs relating to planning & fulfilment.
  • Optimise Project Material budgets by using output from Demand – Supply plans, in collaboration with project Managers, to leverage on technical pool inventory.
  • Review and forecast technical critical spare inventory to optimize stock and minimize out of stock
  • Process and review product obsolescence, asset stock transfer, disposal of technical materials.
  • Implement Demand and Supply planning KPIs and provide regular performance feedback through a well defined and implemented performance review program.
  • Manage, approve, and ensure adherence to Master Data Management (MDM) governance framework for new item creation and update
  • Manage the tracking and resolution of MDM/GSSC Oracle queries as SCM Opco Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Allocating tasks/duties to others within the technical support team and ensuring cohesive team working
  • Implement and fine-tune methods, processes, and systems to enhance effectiveness and meet organizational goals

Commercial.

  • Manage the tracking and resolution of queries/issues from the Opco stakeholders.
  • Allocating tasks/duties to others within a team and ensuring cohesive team working
  • Ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs relating to planning & fulfilment
  • Interact with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
  • Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
  • Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
  • Plan and jointly engage with cross functional team for demand planning and sales and operational planning.
  • Sales forecast and review of devices and age in inventory
  • IT on automation / digitization initiatives for the process
  • Manage process standardisation and transformation initiatives.
  • Review commercial products obsolescence, stock transfer, disposal of materials and demand forecast
  • Implement and fine-tune methods, processes, and systems to enhance effectiveness and meet organizational goals.
  • Jointly plan and coordinate governance around integrated business plan and its impact on commercial inventory
  • Plan and engage third party Inventory management service provider per KPI’s and SLAs agreed upon

Education:

  • A Degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, Business statistics and or Professional Qualification e.g., CIPS, CILT etc

Experience:

  • 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years supervisory experience

Knowledge:

  • Supply Chain Management
  • Statistical forecast Modelling, Planning & Organizing
  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office
