Uganda Clays Limited is Uganda’s leading manufacturer of quality building products located at Kajjansi, 14 Kilometers along Kampala-Entebbe Road with a second factory at Kamonkoli in Mbale

Job Summary:  The Yard Supervisor is responsible for managing the yard in a way that ensures that all yard inventory is fully accounted for without compromising customer needs.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving products from QA into the yard. Organizing the yard layout and ensuring good physical environment.
• Receiving and Serving customers in the yard.
• Processing paperwork and reporting associated with sales and stock control.
• Contribution to the financial reporting process.
• Ensuring quality and safety in the yard.
• Managing the yard team in a manner that empowers them to efficiently arrange products and deliver excellent customer service.
• To carry out other duties as requested by the Sales and Marketing Support Accountant.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration or related fields majoring in stores management.
• At least three years of experience in store management.
• Computer Literacy skills i.e. proficiency in Excel, Navision
• Good mathematical skills
• Good data entry and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
